1989年12月4日至9日,闽西地方党史工作讲习会在长汀开办。这次讲习会是在深入学习党的十三届四中,五中全会文件和江泽民同志国庆讲话精神,以及闽西党史工作取得丰硕成果的大好形势下召开的.出席会议的有全区党史工作者和部分文博系统工作人员共42人。这次讲习会作中心发言的有14位同志,内容紧密联系闽西党史研究的现状,探讨党史如何为现实服务,如何开拓闽西党史研究的广度和深度,介绍党史工作经验,体会等,并对今后工作作了具体布置。江西省赣州地委党史办组织30几位同志前来座谈有关编写地方革命史问题。龙岩地区五个县(永定、龙岩、连城、上杭、长汀)在座谈会上,党史办同志对如何组织、编写县人民革命史,以及编史中的经验、教训作了详细介绍,并对赣州地区的同行提出的具体问题一一作了
From December 4-9, 1989, a seminar on local party history in western Fujian was held in Changting. At the forum, comrades of the Party History Office gave a detailed introduction on how to organize and compile the revolutionary history of the people of the county as well as the experience and lessons learned in the history of the edicts.
