Objective: To investigate and understand the sleeping status of officers and soldiers stationed in a plateau. Methods: A total of 340 officers and soldiers stationed in a certain plateau were randomly selected from the cluster. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale (PSQI) was used to study the effect of prehospital training on the plateau for 1 month, 3 months and 1 month after the stationing of the plateau Month of sleep status assessment, and the total score of PSQI ≥ 7 points defined as insomnia. Results: 45 cases (29.4%) were found insomnia before training in plateau, 69 cases (45.1%) in 1 month in plateau, 61 cases (39.9%) in 3 months and 30 cases in 1 month after plateau training (19.6%). The incidence of sleep-inducing, sleep time and daytime dysfunction factors> 1 in the soldiers training at 1 month, 3 months were significantly or very significantly lower than those at the plateau (P <0.05, P <0.01) The incidence of sleep quality, sleep efficiency, sleep disturbance and hypnotic drug factor> 1 was significantly or very significantly higher than that before training (P <0.05, P <0.01). Subjective sleep quality, sleep time (P <0.05, P <0.01), and the incidence of sleep efficiency, sleep disturbance and hypnotic drug factor> 1 was significantly or very significantly lower than that of day one (P <0.05, P <0.01). The incidence of subjective sleep quality, sleep time and sleep efficiency at 1 month after the end of training in the plateau was significantly or very significantly higher than that of the pre-training (P <0.05, P <0.01). The incidence of sleep time and day dysfunction factor> 1 was significantly or very significantly lower than that before training (P <0.05, P <0.01). The score of PSQI, the subjective sleep quality, sleep disturbance and hypnotic drug factor scores of the officers and soldiers stationed in the plateau firstly increased and then decreased, while the scores of sleep time and daytime dysfunction factor first decreased Elevated “V” trend. Sleep efficiency factor continued to show upward trend, falling asleep time showed a downward trend. Conclusion: The stationing training in the plateau can lead to the decline of the overall quality of the officers and soldiers’ sleep, and the impact factors are different with the different training time.
