与杨立老认识是从1993年,他当选为黄埔军校同学会理事起。给我印象极深的就是这位思维敏捷,眉宇中始终透着一股英气的长者,对待任何人,即使是我们这些晚辈,都是那么和蔼、谦恭。他总爱操着一口硬梆梆的福建“普通话”与我们谈天说地,渐渐地,我了解到,这位如此乐观、豁达的老人,一生中竟布满了沧桑与坎坷。其中使我尤为敬仰的是他那对祖国、对亲人、对生活始终如一的水晶心。魂牵梦萦黄埔岛黄埔岛,在杨立老的记忆中始终是一个魂牵梦绕的地方。
