截至2009年,我国实施西部大开发已经整整十年。十年来,西部地区经济实力显著提升,经济结构不断趋于优化,金融业发挥了关键作用。但是,与东部地区相比,西部现实的差距依然很大。通过比较西部与东部、全国的主要经济金融指标,本文发现:西部开发十年来,西部大多数省份与东部的相对差距有所缩小,但绝对差距依然很大,有几个省份与全国的相对差距甚至在拉大,西部大开发任务依然艰巨。未来10年,是深入推进西部大开发承前启后的关键时期,金融业在西部大开发向纵深推进中要有更大作为。
As of 2009, China has implemented the grand western development for a full decade. Over the past decade, the economic strength of the western region has risen significantly and the economic structure has been continuously optimized. The financial industry has played a key role. However, compared with the eastern region, the gap between western reality is still huge. By comparing the main economic and financial indicators of the west and east China and the whole country, this paper finds that the relative gap between most western provinces and the eastern part has narrowed down in the past 10 years since the western development, but the absolute gap is still large. In the next 10 years, it will be a crucial period for further promoting the western development to a great extent. The financial industry should make greater efforts in deepening the development of the western region.
