Professor Xu Jingjun obtained a doctorate degree in Physics Department of Nankai University in December 1994 due to fruitful accomplishment and was promoted to associate professor by the exception. In 1996, he was promoted to professor. In September 1995, Xu Jingjun was sponsored by Humboldt Foundation of Germany and conducted postdoctoral research at Osnarbrueck University in Germany. In February 1996, he worked as a European scholar at the University of Vienna in Austria for his outstanding achievements.
