源自民间的孔子儒学具有本然的民间草根性、普适性和实践性。孔子儒学反哺民众,使原生态的民间草根儒学文化元素系统化、理论化,强化了实践理性精神。传统民间草根儒学建构了一套行之有效的系统化、大众化、普适化传播机制。民间草根儒学传播机制的研究与重建,有利于加强社会转型期思想道德建设,匡正道德失范与诚信缺失;有利于建构我国民族化、大众化、时代化的普适价值;有利于推动社会主义核心价值体系建设,创造良好的文化环境,促进社会的顺利转型,增强文化软实力。
