经济的发展需要大量高素质的人才,现如今对外开放政策逐渐扩大,英语又是一个世界性的语言,社会需要大量的高素质英语人才,提高中职英语教学效率,为社会培养有学识、有能力、有素质的学生成为当前中职教学的重点教学目标。但是现阶段各大高校扩招,中职学生生源质量逐渐下降,中职英语的教学也逐渐向普教化靠拢,学生对这种枯燥、乏味的英语教学模式厌烦情绪越来越严重。因此,教师必须重视中职英语教学的课程改革,教学中以学生为本,提高学生的学习积极性,培养学生良好的学习兴趣和学习习惯。
