为了落实总后洪学智部长在支援老区卫生建设座谈会上的指示精神,体现党中央,中央军委对老区人民的关怀,最近军区后勤部决定抽调一定卫生力量,组成医疗队,深入陕北地区巡回医疗,到河西走廊为分散定居的原西路军红军战士慰问和治病。这项工作初步安排三年,每年两批,每批四个月左右。第一批医疗队已由二十八分部三二三医院,三十四医院和第四军医大学各组成一个医疗队,到陕北子长县和“三边”地区,二十五分部委托二十五医院组成一个医疗队到河西。这批共四个医疗队,五十七人,技术力量较强,科主任,主治军医(合讲师)九名。携带各种药品器械370余种,价值14万余元,每队携配救护车,生活车各一辆。
