8月15日至20日,安徽省艺术研究所和宣城行署文化局在九华山联合召开了“安徽省‘宣城戏剧’学术讨论会”,与会的有省戏剧理论工作者,宣城地区戏剧作者,《安徽新戏》编辑,以及《安徽日报》、省电视台等新闻单位代表共二十余人。会议在听取了关于近十年宣城地区戏剧创作基本状况和百花剧本交流社组织和活动情况的介绍后,以学术报告和座谈的方式,就宣城戏剧文化现象及其在连台本戏方面的创新探索,进行了学术讨论。
