The Memorial Hospital Laboratory and the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Institute systematically studied the effects of many chemical drugs and their ability to inhibit the growth of cancerous tissues, focusing on the effects of nitrogen mustard and carbamate agents on experimental mouse leukemia.
