During the years before the Revolution of 1911, most of the provinces and autonomous regions in China set up new social groups - the National Agricultural Association, the branch and branches of agriculture, and carried out relevant activities. This reflected the development and changes of modern China in one aspect New trend. However, so far, the academic community has not yet conducted a systematic study of the peasant associations at the time. Not only did not there be any monographs or monographs on them, nor did any textbooks or monographs on the history of modern China’s economy or even agricultural history mention the peasant association. This is clearly a need to make up Defects. I have been involved in finishing the editorial records of the late Qing Dynasty Chamber of Commerce in Suzhou, accidentally found in the Chamber of Commerce file saved some of the farmer information, then began to attach importance to this issue. In recent years, it has also searched for some materials from various newspapers and periodicals, archives and other documents. This article is based on these data, on the 1911 Revolution before the peasant association’s appearance, nature and activities to make a preliminary discussion.
