2005年,我国实施“走出去”战略的步伐加快,对外经济合作业务继续呈现较快增长态势。对外直接投资(非金融类,下同)69．2亿美元,其中股本投资40．7亿美元,同比增长53．6％;经商务部批准和备案设立的境外中资企业共计1067家,同比增长28．7%;对外承包工程完成营业额和新签合同额分别为217．6亿美元和296亿美元,同比分别增长24．6％和24．2％;对外劳务合作完成营业额和新签合同额分别为48亿美元和42．5亿美元,同比分别增长27．5％和21．2％;12月末在外劳务人员56．5万人,同比增加3万人。截止到2005年12月底,对外直接投资517亿美元,对外承包工程累计完成营业额1358亿美元,对外劳务合作累计完成营业额356亿美元。前不久,商务部吴喜林司长在接受媒体访谈时,对我国实施“走出去”战略的特点和相关政策从及企业如何更好地“走出去”等问题,发表了如下看法。

Not long ago, when addressing media interviews, Director Wu Xilin of the Ministry of Commerce made the following comments on the characteristics of implementing the “going out” strategy in our country and related policies and how enterprises can “go global” better.
