《艺术家》是一部形式大过内容的片子,影片想反映的,更多是有声片到对白片转换之间那二三年,影人内部所呈现的不同反应方式。当伟大的哑巴开始发声,有的人为未来的无限可能感到欢呼雀跃,有的人却为了捍卫活动影像的尊严而大声疾呼(前者当如巴赞,后者当如卓别林)。当然,如果真要如此反映,势必是大量台词、大量史诗般的镜头要出来,走的路子自然成了传记片的一套,不如此番复古默片四两拨千斤——既保证了故事性,又独具了开创性,并且还以义无反顾的姿态向影史致敬。即便在商业性强烈主导的奥斯卡,它的得奖也
