草菇[Volvariella volvacea(Bull.ex Fr.)Sing.]是热带和亚热带地区的一种食用真菌。在100克鲜蘑菇中,含有蛋白质2.68%,脂肪2.24%,灰分0.91%、糖类2.60%及维生素丙206.27毫克。草菇除新鲜煮食外,还可制成罐头或干蘑菇。这种蘑菇在中国东南部诸省,以及菲律宾、马来西亚、泰国、缅甸和马达加斯加天然条件下均有相当广泛的栽培。在香港的天然条件下,它只能在五月到十月间生长,但采取室内栽培的方法,则可整年不断的为市场供应鲜蘑菇。本文介绍的是一种可供商业上推广应用的室内栽培草菇的新方
Volvariella volvacea (Bull.ex Fr.) Sing.] Is an edible fungus in tropical and subtropical regions. In 100 grams of fresh mushrooms, containing 2.68% protein, fat 2.24%, 0.91% ash, carbohydrates 2.60% and vitamin C 206.27 mg. Straw mushroom addition to fresh cooking, but also can be made into canned or dried mushrooms. The mushrooms are widely cultivated in the provinces of southeastern China, as well as in natural conditions in the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar and Madagascar. Under natural conditions in Hong Kong, it can only grow between May and October. However, adopting indoor cultivation means that fresh mushrooms can be supplied to the market year after year.
