2003年1月26日,一架台湾华航公司的民航客机作为春节包机从台北桃园机场起飞,降落在上海浦东机场,结束了海峡两岸50多年来不通航的局面。推动这一进步的人就是首先提出春节包机构想的台湾国民党籍民意代表——蒋孝严。蒋孝严原名“章孝严”,是蒋经国与章亚若非婚生双胞胎兄弟中的老大。今年3月他正式将姓氏改回“蒋”,结束了近二十年漫长的认祖归宗之路。由于他特殊的身世和在推动两岸关系中的积极作用,正受到海峡两岸越来越多人的关注。
On January 26, 2003, a passenger plane of a Chinese carrier of Taiwan Airlines took off from Taipei Taoyuan Airport as a charter flight for the Spring Festival and landed at Shanghai's Pudong Airport, ending the situation that the two sides of the strait have not navigated for more than 50 years. Due to his special life experience and its positive role in promoting cross-Strait relations, more and more people in both sides of the Taiwan Strait are being concerned.
