一、经部 按照我国传统的图书四部分类体系,经部冠四部之首。 (一)“经”由书籍通称到专指儒家经典 “经”本是书籍通称 “经”字,其初文为“巠”,本义是“经纬”。甲骨文中未见,始见于西周金文,已具“巠”、”经”二形,义为“经营”。到了春秋末年和战国时期,“经”字才有了“经典”的意义。《国语·吴语》有“挟经秉桴”之语,韦昭注:“经,兵书也。”这是用“经”字指称典籍的最早记载。先秦诸子中,用“经”指称各家之书者不乏其例。《墨子》有《经》上、下篇,又有《经说》上、下篇,《韩非子》的《内储说》与《外储说》,在叙述上分“经”、“说”两部分,论点为“经”,例释为“说”,以阐述法治思想。这是法家典籍。可知,当时以“经”名书,并非专指儒家典籍,而是书籍的通称。战国时期的所谓“经”,是指提纲挈领的文字,由于它语义重要而文字简略,所以需要有所谓“说”对其作进一步的解释说明。 儒家经典垄断“经”的称号 凡书皆
