怀柔区宝山镇道德坑村,南距北京市区100公里,居北京市版图最北端,与河北省丰宁县、赤城县交界。小山村约百户,村前碧水长流,村后青山作障,靠山临水,风水宝地。然而有史以来,这里太过冷清、偏僻,常久不为外人所知。终于,博弈了20多年的国共两党大决战打破了这里的沉寂,人民解放军野战医院的建立,给道德坑平添了浓墨重彩,增添了丰富的红色内涵。这片红色浸染的热土一直激励着后来人,为实现中国梦,努力拼搏着、奋斗着。
