随着美国Ｆ－２２投入批生产和ＪＳＦ验证机的试飞，俄罗斯军界和航空设计领域的首要们不仅对俄罗斯在第五代（西方通常称为第四代）歼击机研制方面比美国至少落后了半代的现状表示担忧，同时也针对美国已经出台的第四代歼击机（相当于俄罗斯的第五代）的技术特点和设计准则发表了自己的看法。本文是作者根据俄罗斯《航空航天》杂志的报道，整理的一篇俄罗斯专家针对西方第四代歼击机的超音速巡航、超机动性和隐身技术特点及发展俄第五代攻击机思路展开讨论的专文，以飨读者
As the U.S. F-22 went into production and the flight of the JSF demonstrator, Russia’s military and aviation chiefs not only lagged behind the United States in Russia’s fifth-generation (commonly known as the fourth-generation) fighter planes in the United States The status quo of the semi-generation expressed concern about the technical characteristics and design criteria of the fourth generation fighter (equivalent to the fifth generation of Russia) that the United States has already promulgated. This article is based on the report of Russia’s Aeronautics and Astronautics. The article was compiled by a Russian expert on the features of supersonic cruise, super mobility and stealth technology of the fourth generation fighter in the West and the idea of developing the fifth generation of Russian attack aircraft.
