迄今在公关理论界中存在一些误区:一是对“Public Relations”的翻译知错不改,对其不利影响估计不足;二是对“公众关系”的定义走进了死胡同:要么违反了逻辑学关于定义的基本要求;要么将“公众关系”与其他相关概念混为一谈,致使对“公众关系”的定义众说纷纭,至今不能形成定论。这对公关的理论发展和实践运用均造成了严重不良影响。通过分析了上述问题。提出了步出公关误区的办法,并对公众关系学中的一些基本的、相关的概念给出了自己的定义。
So far, there are some misunderstandings in the field of public relations theory.
