P18高速工具钢丝业已广泛地用于工具制造业上。应用拉拔的方法获得P18高速工具钢丝,在国民经济上有着重要的意义。国外在生产P18高速工具钢丝时,多采用热拉拔,加热的方法有:电阻炉、煤气炉、盐浴炉、电接触加热和高频感应加热等。热拉拔比冷拉拔优越,但工艺复杂。国内有的工厂在生产P18高速工具钢丝时,是在直拔机上采用电接触加热进行拉拔的,生产率较低,成本较高。如果不是拉拔成较细的钢丝(直径φ<2毫米见下的),特别是
