一、前言电线电缆绝缘层通过交联能改善其物理化学性能。仅十年来,聚乙烯绝缘材料的硫化(交联)已取得了重大进展。日本前几年电线电缆生产情况(如表1所示),就铜和铝导线的重量而言,总产量达到一百万吨。表内列示的任一种有机绝缘材料的电线电缆,除裸铜电线和裸铜电缆之外,都能接受辐射交联。该表中的电力电缆,70%以上都是如表2所示的交联聚乙烯绝缘电缆(XLPE 电缆)。目前,日本约有十二家电缆厂本身拥有生产电线电缆的辐照设备,而且大多数辐照设备都是进行大批量生产。美国的情况与日本差不多。至于其它国
I. INTRODUCTION Wire and cable insulation improves its physical and chemical properties through crosslinking. In just ten years, significant progress has been made in the curing (cross-linking) of polyethylene insulation. The production of wire and cable in Japan a few years ago, as shown in Table 1, reached 1 million tons in terms of the weight of copper and aluminum wires. Wire or cable of any of the organic insulating materials listed in the table shall be radiation-crosslinkable except for bare copper wires and bare copper wires. Over 70% of the power cables in this table are XLPE cables (XLPE cables) shown in Table 2. At present, about 12 cable factories in Japan own their own production facilities for wire and cable and most of the irradiation equipment is for mass production.
