同志们: 我省文艺界各方面的代表欢聚一堂,举行这样的盛会,共商开创文艺工作新局面的大事,并且将要成立陕西省文学艺术界联合会。我代表省委向大会、向全省文艺工作者表示热烈的祝贺。由于历史的原因,我们省长时期没有成立文联。但是,多年来,特别是最近五年里,文艺界各个协会都做了大量工作,对于繁荣陕西的文学艺术事业是有贡献的。文联和各文艺协会,是党领导下的文艺界的群众团体,是党联系广大文艺工作者的桥梁。我深信,省文联成
Comrades: All walks of life in the literary and art circles in our province gathered together to hold such a grand event and jointly discuss the major issues of creating a new situation in literary and art work. Shaanxi Federation of Literary and Art Circles will be established. On behalf of the provincial party committee, I hereby extend my warm congratulation to the literary and art workers in the province. Due to historical reasons, we did not establish the Federation during the governor’s time. However, over the years, especially during the recent five years, various associations in the literary and art circles have done a great deal of work and contributed to the prosperity of Shaanxi’s literature and art.
