1996年3月3—8日国际图联秘书长 Leo Voogt一行2人来京视察。Leo Voogt先生在京期间与组委会秘书处作了5个半日的工作会谈。会谈由组委会秘书长杜克主持,唐绍明常务副秘书长、孙蓓欣副秘书长并秘书处各部负责人参加。会谈期间,文化部副部长、组委会常务副主席刘德有会见并宴请了 Leo Voogt先生。在京期间,Leo Voogt先生还视察了国际会议中心会场,海外代表住宿的凯宾斯基等宾馆。在参观北京图书馆时,受到组委会第一副秘书长、北京图书馆常务副馆长谭斌和组委会副秘书长、北京图书馆副馆长孙蓓欣的接待和宴请。
Mar. 3-8, 1996 Two people from the World Federation of Leeds International Secretary General Leo Voogt visited Beijing. During his stay in Beijing, Leo Voogt made five half-day working talks with the organizing committee secretariat. The meeting was chaired by Du Ke, secretary-general of the organizing committee. Deputy Secretary-General Tang Shaoming and Deputy Secretary-General Sun Beixin attended the meeting. During the meeting, Liu Deyuan, Vice Minister of Culture and Executive Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee met with Leo Voogt and invited him. During his stay in Beijing, Mr. Leo Voogt also visited guest houses such as the International Convention Center and Kempinski Hotel where overseas delegates stayed. During the visit to the Beijing Library, Mr. Tan Bin, Deputy Secretary General of the First Committee of the Organizing Committee, Deputy Director of the Beijing Library, Deputy Secretary General of the Organizing Committee, and Deputy Secretary of Beijing Library Sun Beixin received and hosted the dinner.
