康定地震台位于四川鲜水河、龙门山、安宁河交汇处附近,金属水平摆倾斜仪投入观测的十几年间,对台址周围200公里范围内Ms大于5.5级和300公里范围内Ms大于6.0级的地震均有不同程度的反映,特别是对鲜水河断裂带上的几次中强地震反映较好,似乎可认为该台属地震地倾斜前兆观测的“敏感点”。目前,该台的地倾斜观测是监视四川地区地震活动的重要手段之一。
Kangding Seismic Station is located in the vicinity of the intersection of Xianshuihe, Longmen Mountain and Anninghe River in Sichuan Province. The metal horizontal pendulum instrument has been put into observation for more than ten years. Ms within a range of 200 km around the station is greater than 5.5 and Ms within 300 km is greater than 6.0 Earthquakes have different degrees of reflection, especially on the Xianshuihe fault several strong earthquakes reflect better, it seems that the station can be considered a seismic tilt tilt precursor “sensitive point.” At present, the ground tilt observation of the station is one of the important means of monitoring the seismic activity in Sichuan.
