由中国石油天然气集团公司思想政治工作部(企业文化部)、中国石油文联共同举办的“中国动脉”石油歌曲征集活动自2008年6月10日向社会发布以来,得到了全国各地词曲作者及广大石油职工的积极响应。截至2008年11月30日止,共收到参赛作品203首,其中绝大多数作品配有精心编配和录制的CD盘。
