振荡焊接(或者说线性摩擦搅拌焊接)是指在一定的压力和适当的振幅、频率下使两个热塑性部件相互摩擦从而使他们得到足够熔化的热量,然后再搅拌聚合物。当振荡停止后,两个部件结合在一起,被熔铸的聚合物便会逐渐的凝固,从而形成了焊缝。这种工艺类似于摩擦焊,但两者的不同在于:振荡焊接是线性摩擦运动,而摩擦焊是旋转运动。
Oscillatory welding (or linear friction stir welding) refers to rubbing the two thermoplastic parts against each other at a pressure and a suitable amplitude, frequency, so that they get enough of the heat of melting and then stirring the polymer. When the oscillation is stopped, the two components are joined together and the molten polymer gradually solidifies to form a weld. This process is similar to friction welding, but the difference between the two is that oscillating welding is a linear frictional motion and friction welding is a rotational motion.
