The systolic time interval (STI), which measures left ventricular function, is a quantitative, noninvasive, and reliable test. However, the current normal value is still lacking of international standards. We examined 186 healthy subjects aged 35 to 71 years and analyzed 112 cases of clear apex beepers and obtained the normal STI of our hospital.
