BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: To observe whether the electromagnetic field emitted by mobile phones can promote the development of nervous system tumors in rats. Methods: The rats were injected intravenously with nitrosyl ethylurea (ENU) to induce their brain tumors at 18 d of gestation. 500 young rats were divided into 5 groups, including control group, ENU exposure group and ENU + electromagnetic field exposure group (1 sham irradiation group and 2 groups of different intensity exposure group), 100 in each group, male and female.
