利用中国农业科学院作物所具有抗白叶枯病V型菌新基因Xa-23的材料CBB23,2003年早造育成优质、中产、抗白叶枯病V型菌新材料绿油占/CBB23;2005年早造育成优质、高产、抗白叶枯病V型菌新材料黄华占//绿油占/CBB23;2008年晚造育成高抗稻瘟病,抗白叶枯病(IV型菌1级,V型菌1~3级)的新黄占。新黄占米质晚造达国标优质3级、省标优质2级,两年广东省区试平均产量比对照种粳籼89增产5.67%,2011年通过广东省农作物品种审定。
