我们的《星期日》副刊,到现在为止已经出版八期了,几乎每期都接到从工厂、机关、学校、农村寄来的读者来信,他们热情地支持《星期日》副刊的创办,认为这是在广大读者的“假日生活中增添了一个丰富多彩的园地”,为“广大职工愉快地过好假日,作到有劳有逸,提供了指导”。他们还从不同的方面提出了不同的喜好、要求,希望增设某种栏目等等。从这些热情洋溢的来信中,我们深切地感到办好一个综合性的星期日文化副刊是十分必要的,这对丰富广大读者的假日生活,提供各种知识,培养正当志趣,提高思想修养有着广泛的意义。
