实验是科学的基础,是理论的源泉。科学技术的发展依赖于实验,只有被实验证明了假设才能成为科学。在高等学校里,实验教学更是理论和实践的结合点,随着科学技术的迅速发展,人们已充分认识到它是培养学生实际工作能力和创造精神的基本环节。因此,近年来在理工科高等院校里,很多门学科实验时数的比重有所增大,比如“普通化学”,“普通物理”“分析化学”“有机化学”等实验时数约为总学时数的三分之一或二分之一。同时为重视智能的培养,不同内容的实验课正在不断开设中,对于实验课教学方法等方面也在进行探索研究。这里根据我们近几年的实践,对于怎样提高基础课的实验质量谈一点体会。
