育种家王树功先生组建的玉米育种课题组用美国玉米杂交种Ci7×L289选育二环系78-6;再用H84作抗原,改良78-6,育成高产、抗病、高配合力自交系7884-7;用国外02玉米转育高赖氨酸玉米自交系;用当地硬粒玉米作修饰基因改良02玉米选育(Q.P.M)优质蛋白玉米自交系。其中育成国审品种本玉9号、本玉15、本玉18;省审品种本玉11、本玉12、本玉13等本玉系列玉米杂交种,成为我国中熟、中晚熟玉米品种的重要组成部分;育成本高4号是辽宁省第1个、全国第2个高赖氨酸玉米杂交种;育成本优1号是东北地区第一个优质蛋白玉米杂交种。同时,育成了一批中熟、高产、优质、抗病和高配合力的本玉系列玉米自交系群体。

Among them, Yucheng national trial varieties Benyu No. 9, Benjue 15 and Benjue 18, provincial trial varieties Benjumbe 11, Benjian 12 and Benjue 13, etc. have become the middle-late maturing maize varieties in China Which is the first one in Liaoning Province and the second high lysine maize hybrid in China. Yoshunoyu No.1 is the first high quality protein maize hybrid in Northeast China. At the same time, bred a group of middle-maturing, high yield, high quality, disease resistance and high with the Benjade series of maize inbred lines.
