软核蜜枣也叫无核枣,其品质优良,栽培历史悠久,据群众传说有近三千年历史。由于历代统治阶级的破坏,曾频于绝种,近几年有了恢复和发展。软核蜜枣肉厚质细,脆甜爽口,宜鲜食和干制,深受群众喜爱。1980年地区科委、林业局主持召开的省林业厅、省科委、农科院等30多个单位参加的软核蜜枣初评会上认为,该品种可作为优良品种进行发展和推广。最近我们对该品种的生物学特性、形态特征进行了观察记载,并对其栽培历史、分布状况作了些社会调查,现将调查情况简单介绍如下:
