板栗大球蚧在安徽省此虫1年发生1代,以2龄若虫越冬,越冬后的2龄若虫和雌成虫固定寄生在板栗枝干上刺吸寄主汁液为害。成虫期4月上旬至5月下旬,行两性生殖,存在孤雌生殖。新若虫在5月上旬孵化,5月末达盛期。经生产性防治研究试验表明,用10%高渗吡虫啉可湿性粉剂0.1%溶液在越冬若虫膨大期进行喷杀效果最好。
Chestnut ball scale in Anhui Province 1 year occurred in this pest, with 2 instar nymphs overwintering, wintering 2 instar nymphs and female adults parasitic fixed in the chestnut branch sucking host juice damage.
