Using a diffusion model we investigate deformation effects on the sensitivity of different light particlesto nuclear dissipation for a rather neutron-deficient ~(178)Pb system.Calculations show that deformation significantlyincreases the sensitivity of neutron emission to dissipation strength,and that this effect becomes stronger with increasingdeformation.
