桂林国家高新技术产业开发区座落在闻名天下的桂林市漓江东畔,区域面积97平方公里,依山傍水,风景秀丽,地理位置优越,是1991年国家批准的第一批高新区之一,也是全国5个少数民族自治区中的第一家国家高新区。1997年6月,桂林国家高新区与七星区合并,实现了行政区域与政治区域相统一。桂林国家高新区近年来投入28亿元改造基础设施建设,打造了国家创业中心和留学人员创业园,实施一站式服务,为投资创业者提供了一个极为方便的办事平台。高新区吸引了一大批上规模、技术含量高、竞争力强的大项目,日本的NEC、德国的BASF(巴斯夫)、美国的英格索兰、英国的皮尔金顿等世界著名企业都落户在桂林国家高新区。
Guilin National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone is located in the east bank of the Li River in the world famous Guilin, with an area of 97 square kilometers. With beautiful scenery and favorable geographical position, Guilin National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone is one of the first hi-tech zones approved by the state in 1991 It is also the first national hi-tech zone among the five ethnic autonomous regions in the country. In June 1997, Guilin National High-tech Zone merged with Qixing District to realize the unification of administrative area and political area. In recent years, Guilin National Hi-tech Zone has invested 2.8 billion yuan in infrastructure construction, created a national start-up center and a business park for overseas students, and implemented a one-stop service that provides an extremely handy platform for investment entrepreneurs. High-tech Zone has attracted a large number of large-scale, high-tech, competitive large projects, Japan’s NEC, Germany’s BASF (BASF), the United States Ingersoll-Rand, Britain’s Pilkington and other world-renowned enterprises have settled in Guilin National High-tech Zone.
