科技日报网2002年2月21日的报道：岁月悠悠,桃李芬芳报师恩。作为我国农业工程高等教育的一代宗师,曾德超先生治学严谨,待人宽厚,风范师表,有口皆碑。他在半个多世纪的科研生涯中,先后发表论文130余篇,培养博士20余名,硕士30余名。1984年4月底的一个下午,我出差去东北路过北京,顺便到中国农业大学东校区(当时的北京农机学院)看看我的考研初试是否通过。记得当时研究生部是在一排木板房里,一位老师告诉我初试通过了,并通知我5月12日复试。当我走出研究生部的大门,研究生部的老师就喊着一位匆匆路过的男士说,曾先生,您的学生来了。把我介绍给曾老师。他看了我一眼,说：“好啊,你复试再来吧。”就走了。我注意了一下我报考的导师,中等身材,一尘不染的白衬衣扎在深蓝色裤子里面,很精神,恰是我想象的导师的模样,因为那时没网站,看不到导师的照片。后来我得知导师当时已经65岁了,真的很难看出来,因为那时他走路如风、思维敏捷。
