为了增加机井的出水量,可用土法密封机井。方法是用砖石和木板等把井口和水泵吸水胶管之间堵严,而后以胶泥和湿土踩实封死,并用稀泥抹上一层。整个密封层厚度约为0.5米左右。密封时应注意:1、密封前水位应上升到静水位。2、最好采用较硬的胶泥密封。3、水泵需要装牢固,填料函处不得漏气。我所对景和、城关两公社的五眼机井作了密封试验,效果尚好。景和的一眼铁管机井,原安3″泵,仅能出半管水。密封后,可使6″泵出多半管水,井的出水量约增加三倍。城关的三眼水泥管机井原来出水很少,水泵不能连续工作,几分钟就得停一次。密封后水泵可以连续工作,井的出水量约增加2～3倍。
