网络电视的融合特性对于整个传媒行业的产业化发展具有重要意义,能使媒体的内容和服务实现其商业价值。媒介技术的发展让媒介融合已经成为不可逆转的趋势,三网融合既是发展趋势,也是国家战略。与历来提供“免费的午餐”的广电网和互联网不同,电信网有成熟的产业模式,其主导的网络电视(IPTV)作为新传播时代三网融合的先锋自然成为了人们关注的焦点。网络电视即通过宽带互联网络,向用户提供多媒体、多功能的服务,用户以普通家用电视机配合IP机顶盒进行接入。而网络电视的融合特性对于整个传媒行业的产业化发展具有重要意义,能使媒体的内容和服务实现其商业价值。
The convergence characteristic of network television is of great significance to the industrialization development of the entire media industry, enabling the media content and services to realize their commercial value. The development of media technology has made media convergence an irreversible trend. The integration of three networks is both a development trend and a national strategy. Unlike the broadcasters and the internet that have traditionally provided “free lunches,” the telecom network has a mature industry model and its leading IPTV, as the pioneer of triple play in the new age, has naturally become the focus of attention. Internet TV through the broadband Internet, to provide users with multimedia, multi-functional services, users to ordinary home TV with IP set-top box for access.
