This book mainly studies the history of the nationalist movement in Japan before World War II. The author believes that pre-war Japanese history is a history of foreign expansion and setbacks. Japan’s expansion started with the troop dispatch of troops to Taiwan and the incident in Ganghwa Island, ending only with the annexation of South Korea.
