斑岩铜矿,又称细脉浸染状铜矿,是重要的铜矿工业类型之一。目前,此类型铜矿在资本主义国家约占总储量的65-70%,我国为24%。该类型矿床多呈大型网脉状产出,具有规模大、品位低、易开采的特点,亦经常出现矽卡岩型与斑岩型矿共生的现象。矿石储量,单个矿床往往超过一千万吨,常达几亿——几十亿吨(如美国、加拿大、智利、秘鲁和墨西哥26个著名的矿床中,3-5亿吨的有9个、5-10亿吨的有4个、10-20亿吨的有2个);金属储量常达几十万一几百万吨(如我国江西德兴、西藏玉龙等铜矿达××万-×××万吨)。但其中大部分为贫矿,少数为富矿,一般品位较低,大多矿床原生矿石含Cu在0.4%以下,少数可达0.8%或略高,次生富集带可达1-2%。矿石还伴含有Mo、W、Bi、Co、Pb、Zn、Ag、Au和稀有元素等有用组分。
