红铃虫是我区重点施药对象,常年占棉虫防治费的50左右。探明红铃虫各代为害损失。制定科学的防治指标,是提高棉虫综防水平,扩大经济效益、保护生态环境的重要工作。1982年起,我站参加了农牧渔业部农作物病虫测报站主持的长江流域棉区红铃虫为害损失及防治指标协作研究,按统一方案,经过三年为害损失测定和两年验证试验,取得如下认识:
