我們青年当中,确有不少的人还不善于从历史的观点和阶級斗爭的角度来分析作品。如有的人读过了一部作品之后,不管哪一个朝代,也不問哪一个国家,就很容易地被書中的人物感动了,甚至还盲目地崇拜和模仿起来。我認为这样讀書对自己不但沒有好处,反而容易受害。在我們这里就有这么一个具体的例子。 1956年冬天,我的同学吳××很激动地讀完了“約翰·克利斯朵夫”,兴奋地对我說:“人就要像約翰·克利斯

Once someone has read a work, no matter which dynasty or which country he is not asked, he can easily be touched by the characters in the book and even blindly worship and imitate it.
