Hydrogen is an important industrial gas. Different applications require different hydrogen pressure, but both require hydrogen compression process. To date, all industrial hydrogen compression is carried out by mechanical compressors. The main drawback of this compression method is high energy consumption and unsafe, and impossible to obtain ultra-high purity compressed hydrogen.
