According to the requirements of the “syllabus”, the current middle school teaching materials highlight the focus of reading and writing training in all grades according to the sequence of reading and writing training. Each book also focuses on grade training, arranged two or three key units. The text is compiled to complete the unit’s reading and writing training tasks. Therefore, giving full play to the guidance of the texts on the students’ reading and writing training is the key to accomplish the teaching tasks stipulated in the Outline.
