新生代农民工作为大型“新兴”人群,颇得社会和学界关注。然新生代农民工两地分居问题却一直是研究的盲点。这有碍社会对新生代农民工的真实认知与理解。对湖南H村的实地考察显示:新生代农民工两地分居是打工经济背景下一个普遍的社会问题:新生代农民工两地分居与第一代农民工不同,他们要承受更多另类牛郎织女困惑:新生代农民工遭遇的另类牛郎织女困惑是打工经济背景下整个社会经济结构的产物,在今后一段时期内都将存在。
