大兴安岭位于我国的东北部,北纬50°07′～53°33′20″,东经120°13′～127°00′。林区面积为5086191公顷,其中阔叶次生林占总面积的25%,落叶松、樟子松占75%。气候特点是冬季漫长,夏季酷热,气候变化剧烈,年平均气温—5.3～—1.2℃,年降水量407～488毫米,年平均空气相对湿度65.9～72%。6～9月平均气温13.5～18.3℃,平均降水量306.6～379.6毫米。因此,在4～6月这4个月内伞菌大量出现,特别是在阴坡更多,大多数种类分布在阔叶次生林和针阔混交林内。
