构建以民主法治、公平正义、诚信友爱、充满活力、安定有序、人与自然和谐相处为特征的社会主义和谐社会,是党中央提出的社会发展明确目标。高等院校是教育领域的前沿和国家建设人才的培养基地,是社会精神产品的生产基地,构建和谐校园既是推进高校健康发展的重要内容,也是构建和谐社会的组成部分。校园和谐具体就是指校园内部各种要素处于一种相互依存、相互协调、相互促进的状态,表现为校园组织结构要素的和谐、教育环境的和谐、教师间人际关系和谐、学生间人际关系和谐、师生关系和谐以及自我教育、家庭教育、社会教育和学校教育的和谐等等方面。而高校体育作为高校教育的重要组成部分,除了可以提高大学生身体素质、培养大学生的社会活动能力之外,还与和谐校园的构建相辅相成,体育教育以其独特的学科性质对和谐校园的构建起到推波助澜的作用;同时,和谐校园也为高校体育的和谐发展营造有利环境。本文主要采用文献资料法和逻辑分析法,在阐述和谐校园概念的基础上,论述了构建大学和谐校园的意义,从体育的本质和大学体育自身的功能两个方面论证了体育在构建和谐大学校园中的积极作用,最后提出以构建和谐校园为契机大力发展高校体育的几点建议:(1)加强对高校体育的领导;(2)以余暇体育为契机促进高校体育的发展;(3)加大高校体育设施的投入;(4)要加大体育教学改革的力度,教学内容具有实用性,教学方法具有针对性,教学形式具有灵活性,充分发展学生的个性,把体育教学与闲暇体育有机结合起来,更好地完成高校体育教育任务。

Concrete campus harmony refers to the various elements within the campus in an interdependent, coordinated and mutually reinforcing state, manifested as the harmony between the elements of the campus organizational structure, the harmonious educational environment, interpersonal harmony among teachers, interpersonal harmony among students, Harmonious relationship between teachers and students and self-education, family education, social education and school education and so on. As an important part of college education, college PE can not only enhance the physical fitness of college students and cultivate the students’ ability of social activities, but also complement the construction of a harmonious campus. Based on the concept of harmonious campus, this paper expounds the significance of building a harmonious university campus.
