美国密西西比州的劳森工程和开发公司及索尔蒸气元件工厂联合研制了一种新型的大排量、高效能抽油机。这种抽油机采用由伺服装置控制的液压系统来驱动由钢丝绳和平衡重组成的提升机构。由于动力液在抽油泵上下行程的任何一点均可无级调控,因此可使泵的上下行程始终在最经济的条件下工作,即:最大限度地减小抽油杆的应力,并随时平衡原动机的功率输入。一部样机已在路易西安那州的南蒙特利油田试验了四年多时间。
A joint venture of Lawson Engineering and Development Company in Mississippi and the Saul Steam Components Factory has developed a new type of large displacement, high efficiency pumping unit. This type of pumping unit uses a servo system controlled hydraulic system to drive a hoisting mechanism consisting of a wire rope and a balance weight. As the power in the pump up and down the stroke any point can be infinitely controlled, so the pump can be up and down the stroke is always in the most economical conditions, namely: to minimize the stress of the sucker rod, and the balance of the original Motive power input. A prototype has been tested in South Monterey Field in Louisiana for more than four years.
