《高等学校化学学报》编委会第八次会议于1993年10月5～11日在长沙湖南大学举行。出席会议的编委共32人,其他编委因事或因健康原因请假。编辑部7名同志列席了会议。 会议由第二届编委会主编唐敖庆教授、副主编曾云鹗、王积涛、沈家骢、周秀中、孙家锺等共同主持。唐敖庆主编在第一天全体会议上首先就第七次编委会议以来的工作作了初步总结。他说:三年来编委会在国家教委领导下,学报质量有了进一步提高,这是各位编委和编辑部同志共同努力的结果,也是广大作者、审者和读者支持的结果。今天在这里召开第八次会议,有二项议程:一是总结3年来编委会的工作,研究如何将刊物办得更好,使学报质量上一个新台阶;二是编委会换届选举第三届编委会正、副主编。在酝酿编委会换届的过程中,有些老同志提出不再担任编委并积极推荐年轻的教授任编委,这些同志对刊物的发展做出了重大的贡献,我代表编委会向他们表示衷心感谢。第三届编委会有一定的特色,增加了年轻
The 8th meeting of the Editorial Board of Chemistry of Chinese Universities was held on October 5-11, 1993 in Changsha Hunan University. A total of 32 editorial board members attended the meeting, and other editorial board members took part in business or for health reasons. Seven comrades in the editorial department attended the meeting. The meeting was co-chaired by Professor Tang Aoqing, editor-in-chief of the second editorial board, and Zeng Yunxuan, Wang Jitao, Shen Jiachen, Zhou Xiuzhong and Sun Jiazhong.
